And suddenly it's August… what?
Does it seem like “summer” gets shorter every year. I know seasonally it’s still summer, but once I see friends posting pics of their kids going back to school I feel like summer is over… and strangely I want to go buy school supplies.
I have a few things I want to focus on this month:
This month I will hike 3 times. And I’d like to find some new trails.
I will plan to get more than 5-6 hours of sleep a night. Hopefully I can average 7-8 hours. That sounds like bliss. And I know more sleep leads to better mental clarity and focus. All wonderful things. Really.
I will use my hammock twice. Because I want to… And my hammock is awesome.
I am also going to start adding some mileage in to my daily walks (ie, I’m going to start daily walks). I plan to hike the Cades Cove loop in December. It’s about 11 miles and paved. That’s different than trail hiking and I need to figure out what I can do to make it easy and set myself up for success.
Oh andddddd August 21st I’m going to make sure I watch the eclipse!!!! Middle Tennessee should be set up for pretty sweet viewing. Check/tap above for more info.
